[Now Live] ARTERNAL Pay is launched!

What is it?

Users can now receive payments using Stripe, Affirm, and ACH when you send invoices through ARTERNAL.

How to use it?

Go to your settings and there will be a new ARTERNAL Pay tab where you can connect your Stripe account. For more details please check out this article with videos inside.

What is it?

In contacts, there is now a new filter “Type”

What does it matter?

It allows you to filter contacts by the type

How to use it?

In contacts, open the filter drop down menu, choose Type and select the desired type

[Now Live] Users can now create custom field groups

What is it?

In the inventory custom fields, users are now able to put them into different groups and reorder them

Why does it matter?

It allows users to better organize custom fields. For example, you can have a group of custom fields for crating and another group for shipping

How to use it?

Go to your Settings > Custom Fields > Inventory, create a new custom field or click on an existing custom field, you will see the new Field Group section and can create a new group from the dropdown.

🎉 Inventory Improvement:

• Removed the text “(no notes)” in the Tags/Notes column in the list view
• Optimized the query of creating new custom fields

📔 Contacts

[Now Live] Users can now create contact custom fields

What is it?

Under each contact’s profile, there is a new Custom Fields section at the bottom

Why does it matter?

It allows users to create custom fields that show up in every contact’s profile, such as social media handle or birthday

How to use it?

Go to a contact’s profile > click on the Edit Contact button > scroll down to the Custom Fields section > click on Manage Custom Fields to add a new field

🎉 Invoice V2 Improvement: improved the connectivity between invoice and inventory & contacts so that it will show up on the activity feed of the sold work and the buyer’s profile

🎉 Settings Improvement: moved the automatic payable toggle from user settings to organization settings

• Fixed an issue where re-importing existing contacts did not work

[Now Live] New buttons on documents in the inventory profile page

What is it?

In the Documents section under an inventory’s profile, if you hover over the document, there are now the Download and Add to List buttons.

Why does it matter?

It allows users to more easily download the file or add it to an inventory list

How to use it?

Go to an inventory > scroll down to the Documents section > hover over the document > the new buttons will show up and click on either of them as desired

⚙️ Settings

[Now Live] Hide currency code in PDFs

What is it?

In the settings > Account > PDFs, there is a new toggle Hide Currency Codes

Why does it matter?

It offers the option to hide the currency code (e.g. USD and EUR) in PDFs

How to use it?

Go to Settings > Account > PDFs, and switch on the second toggle as needed.

📈 Reporting

[Now Live] Users can filter contacts by total sales in a certain time rage

What is it?

In the Contacts by total value of sales report, you can filter the Revenue column by the time range

Why does it matter?

It allows users to filter clients by how much artwork they bought in a specific time range

How to use it?

In Reports, go to the Contacts by total value of sales report and click on the Revenue header. In the filter, enter the time range as desired.

[Now Live] New toggle for auto-create payables

What is it?

In Settings > Account > Inventory > Settings, there is a new toggle to automatically create payables

Why does it matter?

It will automatically create a payable for the consignment terms when the invoice is paid, so that the user does not have to click on "auto-create payables" for each invoice.

How to use it?

Go to Settings > Account > Inventory > Settings, and switch on the last toggle. After that, when you mark an invoice as paid, and the work has an active consignment term, it will automatically create a payable.

📈 Reporting

🎉 Reporting Improvement:

• Improved the Sold Artworks report’s Sold To column to include more sold artworks
• Improved the custom reports feature so that hiding, resizing, moving columns are now saved

✉️ Smart Mail

🎉 Smart Mail Improvement:

• Improved the inventory search in smart mail so that the status filter applied in inventory no longer carries over to the smart mail inventory search
• Improved the smart mail attachment uploader so that it notifies the user to try again if the upload temporarily fails

What is it?

In the invoice, there is a new field Due Date

Why does it matter?

It helps remind the user when an invoice is due, and the user can sort invoices by due date.

How to use it?

In individual invoices, click on the Due Date field to select a date, and then in the All Invoices page, click on Sort by and select due date

[Now Live] User can change invoice creator

What is it?

In individual invoices, user can now change the creator of the invoice

Why does it matter?

This feature helps the organization to keep track of who is responsible for which invoice, in case it is different from the actual creator of the invoice.

How to user it?

Click on the Created By field and choose a user from your organization
