# How to Change Permissions for Inventory Lists

Learn how to change the permissions of inventory lists, exhibitions, and fairs to control whether they are visible to just you or your team.

## Step 1: Access the List

- Go to the **Inventory List/Exhibition/Fair** you want to change the permissions for.

## Step 2: Change the Permission

- At the top of the page, you will see a **Public** button.
- To make the list private and visible only to your account, click on **Public**, and it will change to **Private**.
- Click it again to change the setting back from **Private** to **Public**.

## Note:

By default, an inventory list, exhibition, or fair is set to **Public** when first created.
