ARTERNAL allows for automatic contact association when an artwork is marked as sold, linking the buyer to the artwork’s record. Here’s how it works:

## Step 1: Mark the Artwork as Sold
- When you mark an artwork as **SOLD** in the inventory.

## Step 2: Add the Buyer Contact
- You will be prompted to enter the contact who purchased the work. Search for and select the contact, then click **Confirm**.

## Step 3: View the Contact in Associations
- The contact will automatically appear in the **Associations** section, labeled as the **Owner** of the artwork.

## Step 4: Update Ownership for Future Sales
- If the artwork is sold again, repeat steps 1-3. The previous buyer will be labeled as the **Previous Owner**, and the new buyer will become the current **Owner**.

## Optional: Enabling or Disabling Automatic Association
- If this feature is not working or you’d like to disable it, go to **Settings** > **Inventory** under the **Organization** section, and toggle the option on or off as needed.
